As a Recruitment Consultant you will develop strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and utilise direct and pre-employment methods to maximise placements to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.

SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia, however, for this role, you will be based at our
Adelaide CBD (Gawler Place) site.

In this role, you will be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of well-being, independence, and opportunity for everyone.

Day

- to-day activities will include:

Actively engaging with and account managing new and existing employer relationships, maximising placements using direct recruitment and preemployment methods to secure sustainable employment outcomes.
Managing employer vacancies and promoting available opportunities to internal stakeholders, conducting prescreening activities, and referring and placing suitable participants.
Canvassing and cold calling employers to source vacancies and employment opportunities for existing caseloads and reverse market participants to employers.
Supporting the implementation and development of employment strategies and linkages for key cohorts and refer participants to relevant initiatives.
Providing thorough Post Placement Support to employers by maintaining the prescribed contact regime to maximise employment outcomes and maintain positive employer relationships.

About You

Experience in customer service, client facing or sales role.
Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
Time management, organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise in order to achieve outcomes.
Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
Able to confidently and effectively cold canvass employers and reverse market participants.

For this role, you will need to:

Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Have a valid and current Drivers License
Be eligible to work in Australia
