_ Key objectives & responsibilities include:_

  • Balance resources for the provision of maintenance support
- maintenance teams to cover maintenance support for vessels under contract

  • Provide governance over current maintenance provision and review processes with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Lead and manage the sustainment maintenance team
  • Support sustainment strategy development

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes

  • Tertiary qualification in Maintenance Management, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
  • Experience working within a similar leadership role, ideally within the defence or marine industry
  • Knowledge of maintenance management and asset management systems and processes
  • Leadership, people management experience and a team building focus
  • Values; customer focus, teamwork, integrity & excellence
  • Results orientated, pursues improvements and outcomes while maintaining risk awareness
