The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing employee health safety and wellbeing at work by managing workplace risks and hazards, implementing, and driving health and safety initiatives, maintaining health & safety management systems, ensuring legislative compliance and adherence to statutory requirements.


The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager promotes health and safety awareness, fosters a positive team member wellbeing & safety culture, and is focussed on injury prevention activities to assist in mitigating organisational risk and seeks continuous improvement opportunities within health and safety.


Essential Criteria:


  • At least 5 years managerial experience in Health & Safety or related field
  • Tertiary Qualification in Health Safety and Wellbeing or related
  • Solid experience with Audit Management
  • Ability to model and drive cultural change across a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
  • Excellent business knowledge and business acumen, ideally a strong understanding of the broader business, structure and key activities
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in an adaptable and fast paced environment
