What does the role offer?

  • Friday day shift
- $ $46.72 p/hour + 11% super

  • Permanent, fulltime role

What is this role responsible for?

  • Leading a team of workshop technicians to meet, deliver and exceed service expectations
  • Drive efficiency within the team to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring WHS responsibilities in a safety first culture
  • Maintain and repair Council's large plant, tractors, heavy vehicles, light vehicles and other plant and equipment
  • Maintain work schedules to ensure efficiencies
  • Be responsible for the day to day activities of workshop staff
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding plant and equipment performance

What will you bring?

  • Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology/Mobile Plant Technology or related discipline
  • Experience in repair, diagnosis and maintenance of heavy plant and heavy and light vehicles
  • Ability to lead and supervise staff in their daytoday activities
  • Current Class HR Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain and TfNSW and Light Vehicle Inspection Certificate
