What does the role offer?

Monday
Friday day shift

- $ $46.72 p/hour + 11% super

Flexible work arrangements available
Leading a team of highly skilled mechanics
Permanent, fulltime role

What is this role responsible for?

Leading a team of workshop technicians to meet, deliver and exceed service expectations
Drive efficiency within the team to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring WHS responsibilities in a safety first culture
Maintain and repair Council's large plant, tractors, heavy vehicles, light vehicles and other plant and equipment
Maintain work schedules to ensure efficiencies
Be responsible for the day to day activities of workshop staff
Liaise with stakeholders regarding plant and equipment performance

What will you bring?

Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology/Mobile Plant Technology or related discipline
Experience in repair, diagnosis and maintenance of heavy plant and heavy and light vehicles
Ability to lead and supervise staff in their daytoday activities
Current Class HR Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain and TfNSW and Light Vehicle Inspection Certificate
