The EHS advisor position is an extremely important one to us.

Based in Erskine Park and reporting to one of the best managers you will ever have (Our wonderful National EHS Manager) you will be responsible for 6 sites across our NSW region.

**Note, this role will involve travel every 6-8 weeks at a minimum.

Main Responsibilities, Key points about this role:

  • Very busy, dynamic and reactive role working closely with our 6 sites (Albury, Queanbeyan, Orange, Erskine Park, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour) and their teams.
  • Stramit specialises in Steel in roll forming steel so SAFETY is our number one priority. Safety champion mindset
  • Safety walks and reporting on the regular
  • Working in a balance of managing business needs, prioritising critical requirements and being task orientated
  • Safety generalist aspect with Return to Work programs, working with LOTS of machinery
  • Available for out of hours contact at times due to the nature of operating hours of our business

To be considered for this role, we need from you:

  • Experience in similar role and industry (who understands more reactive situations)
  • Strong understanding of NSW and Aus Safety and Legislation
  • Return to work experience (programs, communications)
  • Confidence in delivering with strong verbal and written communication skills
- excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to talk to anyone on any level with a think on your feet attitude
  • Collaborative mindset, team dynamic driver
  • Full working rights in Australia (unrestricted)
