The restaurant serves a wide range of traditional Chinese cuisine.Located in the heart of Sydney City, THE EIGHT is considered the best catering venue in Sydney.
It is now looking for an Event and Conference Organiser to join the team at THE EIGHT.
The Event and Conference Organiser will be responsible for responding to inquiries about the company's services and costs for venue hire and catering services, scheduling events, meeting with customers to discuss their needs for catering services and preparing packages of options to meet their needs and negotiating and drafting prices.
The Event and Conference Organiser will coordinate staff rostering with management to ensure smooth event flow, arranging the provision of certain facilities, catering needs, audio visual equipment and other decorations.
The Event and Conference organiser will also promote parties and other events held in the restaurant.- 10 years of related work experience

- Enjoy working both independently and within a team environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management
Salary:
$75, $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
