An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Infrastructure Planning and Major Projects branch in the role of Executive Assistant at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Infrastructure, Planning and Major Projects Branch provides coordinated policy advice on transport infrastructure projects, public transport, roads, ports and freight, urban and regional planning, building, heritage, local infrastructure and sport and recreation.
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Executive Director, Infrastructure, Planning and Major Projects and provides a point of contact for key stakeholders.
The role requires a highly organised individual with a communicative and collaborative approach, initiative and the ability to work with mínimal supervision, to ensure that deadlines are achieved across the branch.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level, confidential administrative and business support to an Executive and/or team.
- Sound knowledge of the processes, policies and procedures within government and understanding of public sector accountability.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to clearly and confidently communicate with a variety internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines in pressured situations.
