    VR GP - Replace Retired Doctor - Flexible Hours - High Patient Demand - DPAAbout the Opportunity

    A very busy medical practice in the Gowrie area is currently needing more vocationally registered general practitioners to replace a retired full-time doctor and cater for increasing patient demand.

    The ideal candidate will be a VR GP who is comfortable with bulk billing and willing to bulk bill the vast majority of their patients as there is considerable demand for bulk billing from new and existing patients.

    This position is open to part-time and full-time applicants as shifts are very flexible with no compulsory weekend or evening work.

    Services available here include travel and childhood vaccinations, mental health, end of life care, workcover and pre-employment medicals, maternity care and skin cancer.

    Patients are seen on an appointment or walk-in basis with the support of a full-time practice nurse for chronic disease management, wound management and dressings etc.

    Lump sum payments can be considered depending on the doctor's level of commitment and number of hours worked.

    MBBS or equivalent
    Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration

    Full Time Position exists for an enthusiastic General Practitioner with AHPRA Registration minimum 2 year working experience who is looking for work lifestyle balance.

    Ayr Medical Group is a purpose built, 9 room medical practice situated a 1hr drive north to Townsville and 2 hr drive south to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays.

    Due to increased patient demand you will have an automatic start up client base.
    General Practitioners's in their initial 12 months can take home $100k until increasing their qualifications.

    Each GP has reception staff, nursing staff and other FRACGP Doctors all available to support you on a daily basis.

    The clinic hours are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm and Sat morning 8am - 11am on a rostered basis.

    The centre has a Pharmacy, Pathology and Diagnostic Imaging on site.
    We are a mixed billing practice, fully computerized.
    We have 2 minor theatres for skin procedures, 5 nurse cubicles, onsite parking and a private staff room.

    We are seeking 1 full-time general practitioner to support strong patient demand at our medical centre, Minlaton Medical Centre.

    Minlaton Medical Centre is a multi-disciplinary Medical Centre that offer a range of services, from Specialists to Allied health and through to all aspects of procedures and Nursing services all working collaboratively with the Local Community.

    The medical centre is located 2 hours north of Adelaide CBD on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula.

    A range of essential healthcare services are co-located within the medical centre, including full-time nursing support, treatment rooms, , pathology, allied health services and complete administrative support.
