_ About the role_
We are looking for a strong, aspiring, or experienced leader with experience in a similar setting.


At capacity, the centre caters to just over 100 children, and its operating hours are between 7 am and 6:30 pm.

Your responsibilities include:
_**- Assisting the Centre Manager with managing day-to-day operations.

  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
  • Upholding consistent, highquality standards for centre presentation and work practices.
  • Ensuring the delivery of highquality early learning programs by our passionate educators.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
  • Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientations

The non-negotiables

  • Minimum one year of experience mentoring a team as an Assistant Director.
  • Experience in overseeing and implementing a program based on children's needs and interests.
  • A strong understanding of compliance and of National Quality Standards (NQF).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound experience in supporting the staff management of a medium to large childcare service.
  • The ability to manage and lead community engagement.
