About Us


The Co-Group is a growing charitable, not-for-profit (NFP) organisation which offers opportunities for support workers to provide care for clients that include in-home supports, group homes, and day centres in the disability and aged care industry.

The Co-Group employs a multicultural and diverse workforce including visa holders.

Our client is an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services in Sunshine Coast.

We are seeking Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to a range of fantastic clients and participants currently engaged.


Our Support Workers are home-based and utilise a mobile work model (with electronic support for administration), attracting a travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, appropriate to client need.

There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
  • Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
  • Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation)
  • Assistance with medications
  • Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)

Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

  • A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
  • Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
  • Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus not a requirement)
  • Excellent communication skills, commitment to a personcentred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
  • A sense of humour (another bonus not a requirement)
  • Resilience and compassion
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current Blue card
  • Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
  • The right to work in Australia
