The Work, Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) Advisor will play a key part in assisting the QHSE Manager in maintaining the highest possible Work.

Health & Safety Program.

Overall responsibility of this role will be managing the daily operations of the WHS Program and provide guidance to the manufacturing and retail field-based teams across Australia and New Zealand.


The role will also be critical in promoting a positive WHSE culture that encourages staff to maintain a high level of awareness and compliance to achieve Krispy Kreme's WHSE objectives.


The WHSE Advisor will provide insights and recommendations to the WHSE Manager based on research and analysing current trends and performance.

  • You are seen as a Work Health Safety and Environmental expert for managing the Krispy Kreme WHSE systems, delivering exceptional quality standards.
  • Training and coaching of operators and team leaders to drive the ownership and accountability by teams to ensure that all WHSE hazards and associated controls are implemented, practiced, and reviewed with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Supporting Site Leader and Management teams with consultation, incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, emergency preparedness and risk management protocols with an emphasis on compliance and continuous improvement.
  • An effective WHSE QMS is embedded into the system ensuring document and data control protocols are sound and meet statutory retention requirements.
  • The WHSE team meets or exceeds annual operational development goals.
  • There is an effective collaborative approach displayed at all touchpoints and internal interactions to the cross functional role of WHSE Advisor
  • You provide regular support and guidance to Field teams, regularly taking part in area and site meetings to promote and action Health, Safety and Environmental concerns.
  • Frequent feedback and reports are provided to the QHSE Manager and other Senior Management team on standards identifying areas of improvement utilizing trend data.

What you can bring to the team

  • Knowledge of relevant ANZ WHS and Environmental regulatory framework
  • Application and knowledge of ISO standards within a FMCG business
  • Knowledge of audit principals and techniques
  • Ability to identify rootcause or trends in reporting, with a continually improving mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use initiative to problem solve.
  • Ability to positively influence and lead by example.
  • Effective business communication and report writing skills.

Education- Tertiary or equivalent formal qualification in Work Health Safety or Environment (minimum cert IV)

  • Intermediate level Microsoft word/power/excel qualification.
  • Lead Auditor qualifications (ISO 45001 or 14001)

Experience- Minimum 1-2 years' experience working within an integrated WHSE system within a FMCG business.

  • Wellrehearsed in undertaking integrated risk assessments, conducting internal inspections, and facilitating WHSE consultative sessions.
  • Operating within a certified ISO QMS
