ABOUT THE ROLE


In this position you will manage the operations of services and programs to ensure they provide quality person-centred services, within financial, legislative, contractual, and operational requirements.

You will also lead and manage a team of dedicated support workers and coordinators, assisting them to implement best practise approaches to supporting people to increase their independence and participate in daily community activities.

If you are an experienced manager who wants to join an innovative team to provide leadership to our Assisted Living clients then this is the perfect opportunity.

Ideally you will have a background in disability, aged care or nursing background to be able to support some of our more complex clients with high medical needs.

Criteria:

  • Qualification in Individual Support, Disability or other related field at Cert IV minimum
  • Qualification in Leadership / Management or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in ROC development and SIL submission is also highly regarded but not essential.
  • Current unencumbered Driver's Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Evidence of COVID19 Immunisation or exemptions
  • Experience leading a team and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal form.
  • Experience of working within marginalised communities with complex mental health, trauma, crisis and physical needs
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills including the Microsoft Office Suite.
