What you'll be doing
The Nowra Community Mental Health Service Administration Officer position provides general office and reception duties to the Nowra Community Mental Health Service to allow for efficient and effective service delivery.
The position will also provide administration support to the Nowra Community Mental Health Service Psychiatrist and Team Leader, as required.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. - Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative task in a demanding environment.
- Experience of responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response and directing calls to the most appropriate person.
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
- High level skills using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Customer focused team player and a willingness and ability to contribute to the overall performance, improvement encompassing change of the Services needs for administrative support.
- Use of eMR, Oracle, Wink, Patient Management System (iPM) and Information Management System (TRIM).
