- Mowing, edging, brush cutting, spraying, tree works, garden maintenance and fertilising
- Broad acremowing of assets using appropriate plant and equipment - ride on mowers, tractor operateds mowing
- Collecting and removal of litter prior to mowing
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in horticultural maintenance
- Experience in operating plant including both mechanical and hand tools
- Experience in mowing, applying fertiliser and herbicides
- Level of reading and writing to be able to maintain daily records, follow instructions and perform chemical mixing and application calculations
- Trade qualification in horticulture is desirable
- Understanding of OH&S requirements

As a member of the Parks Maintenance Team there will be a strong focus on horticultural activities relating to the maintenance of parts, reserves and open space assets.
