Job Description:

Are you an experienced and proactive Payroll Manager looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organisation and take the next step in your career?


As part of the Global HR Operations team and the Regional HR team, this role will lead the delivery of payroll services across 8 countries in the Asia Pacific region via a payroll team and third-party suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Reporting to the Director, HR Operations - APAC and IMETA, this position will be based at our Macquarie Park office with flexible hybrid work options.


The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Manage relationships with third party vendors and suppliers, including integration of new systems and vendors
  • Ensure robust Business Continuity Plan, including risk management, service recovery strategies and maintenance of uptodate knowledge base, case triage criteria and job aids
  • Develop and uphold robust controls to meet statutory and business compliance requirements and put in place processes to imbed them
  • Ensure that segregation of duties and data protection standards are met
  • Lead, manage, and develop payroll team members
  • Ensure the support and deliverables provided by the team are aligned with local and global organizational objectives
  • Stay up to date on trends, development, compliance and legislative changes impacting Payroll within the region
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, HR or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience managing a payroll function, ideally within a large, complex organisation
  • Strong team leadership capability with the ability to provide guidance and direction
  • Experience managing payroll for multiple countries would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience with ADP Globalview and/or SAP preferred
  • A proven ability to organise and manage team workloads to achieve outcomes
  • Welldeveloped relationship building and consultative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to organize and plan effectively to deliver quality and timely results
