Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Fleet Manager is essential in driving best practice across Fleet, which consists of approximately 720 vehicles.

The role, which is part of our Finance team, will be based at one of Aruma's offices in either Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast or Canberra.

The main objective of this role is to actively work towards unlocking value and reducing non-value added activities across Operations and Fleet.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimise operational performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead and manage the Fleet Administrator to ensure effective administration of all Fleet activities including vehicle registrations, licensing, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance program for all vehicles in the Fleet.
  • Develop and implement driver safety programs and training.
  • Drive process improvements across Fleet and Operations.

About you

  • Tertiary qualified, Degree in Business, Engineering or related
  • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong operational focus with experience in driving process improvements.
  • Experience in managing a large Fleet of vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of Fleet management regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing budgets and driving cost savings.
