About the role


Onsite are on the lookout for a dynamic Payroll Assistant to join our friendly Finance team in Silverwater/ North Sydney.


Reporting to the Group Taxation Manager, you will provide payroll, financial and administrative support to the finance team and internal stakeholders.


You will also undertake the following:

  • Review of timesheets, liaising with branch managers to chase approvals and correct errors
  • Assist with fortnightly and Monthly pay runs as required.
  • Setting up new employees in Payroll and Timesheet systems.
  • Manage employee position changes in Payroll and Timesheet systems.
  • Liaise with HR and managers in relation to employee leave requests and outstanding paperwork.
  • Managing employee service awards.
  • Travel reporting and weekly travel reconciliation
  • Credit Card administration (Daily) and Credit Card General Ledger reconciliation
  • Office Administration and Executive Support as required.
  • Finance Exception Report Management and Project work as required.

  • A University Degree in Business, Commerce or similar
  • Two years of finance / payroll administration experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to successfully interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build successful working relationships.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, tasklist management and followup skills
  • Strong computer literacy, including demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office skills
  • Excel, Word and Outlook
