The Student Experience team at Swinburne University of Technology is looking for a Student Voice Coordinator to join their team.


The Student Voice Coordinator will support a wide range of student experience initiatives that are being undertaken from 2023 through to June 2025 across a range of Swinburne areas.

The Student Voice Coordinator will provide coordination and supervision of the delivery of a series of initiatives within the Student Experience Framework, liaising closely with unit heads and other key stakeholders who will lead individual actions and working under the direction of the Director, Student Experience.


The Student Voice Coordinator will play a big role in engaging students to participate and contribute to the projects being implemented, and will need to bring with them excellent stakeholder and communication skills.


About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience regarding student/customer experience in a university or large and complex institution
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and assisting in implementing projects by utilising effective management principles
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with students and student organisations to develop effective working relationships
  • Demonstrated initiative and capability to work with limited supervision, as well as part of a collaborative project team of specialists

Qualifications

  • A degree and subsequent relevant experience in student or customer experience and working with students; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training
