Be part of creating the brand new Ipswich and Kingaroy Head to Heath sites due to commence service delivery in late 2023. The sites will provide welcoming, low stigma, soft entries to engagement with services through assessment, triage, warm referrals and support to people requiring mental health support at any level.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager - Integrated Mental Health, the Clinical Services Manager (CSM) is responsible for delivery of effective services to support people with a mental illness, and/or those experiencing distress or crisis.


This newly created role will be pivotal in:

  • Ensuring high quality service delivery
  • Establishing and leading a multidisciplinary team
  • Creating and monitoring all clinical governance and compliance targets are met
  • Building and enhancing partnerships
  • Providing clinical oversight and supporting the team
  • Identifying service gaps and developing solutions
  • Leading continuous quality improvement mechanisms
  • Working closely with the General Manager to drive strategic direction

About You

  • Formal tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated track record in health care management and mental health service delivery
  • Experience working within trauma informed and cross cultural settings
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Creative thinker and pragmatic problem solver with an agile mindset
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Adaptability and flexibility to a changing work environment and requirements
