Markets & Securities Services is responsible for the provision of multi-product coverage of Australian, New Zealand and international institutional clients including banks, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, wealth managers and Sovereign Wealth Funds across multiple products.

We specialise in foreign exchange, credit and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.

Taking on the role of Associate Corporate Sales with a multi-product focus, you will support Corporate clients with queries around foreign exchange solutions, interest rates and commodities, providing products and solutions aligned with their needs through deep market insight.

Based with a small team, there is the opportunity for exposure to a broad variety of work, covering the entire corporate spectrum of clients in Australia, whilst still being part of a truly global bank with a strong reputation.


Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing day to day sales coverage utilising the full suite of markets offerings including FX solutions, rates and commodities.
  • Service a portfolio of Strategic and/or Focus clients, including Transactional clients, managing and developing relationships.
  • Originating solutions that meet client needs, leveraging the bank's depth of product expertise and thought leadership.
  • Developing trusted relationships with clients to drive revenue growth and greater product penetration.
  • Collaborating with other internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers and transaction bankers to service client needs and improve share of wallet.
  • Driving efficiency and profitability by championing adoption and use of relevant service offerings to meet client needs.
Requirements

  • To be successful in this role you will need:_
  • Experience working with corporate clients in a similar role in a bank or third party FX provider.
  • Experience developing lasting trusted client relationships whilst improving product penetration and wallet share.
  • Deep knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) instruments and interest rate derivatives products.
  • Sound understanding of a Corporate client's requirements.
  • A good understanding of Capital Markets, covering foreign exchange instruments (spot, options, swaps, forwards and futures) and interest rate derivatives and an ability to understand & manage a diverse and sometimes complex, product set.
  • Analytical aptitude
  • Strong communication, negotiation / influencing and presentation skills.
