The Opportunity

This is a new and unique opportunity to take control of our pre dispatch logistics, working with our service team to ensure our jobs are organised and ready for site.

You will make meaningful process improvements and directly impact the flow of our jobs out of the factory.

This role will suit someone who has an eye for detail, brain for organisational / logístical work and the heart to ask questions and make suggestions.

This role is based on an attractive remuneration and a 38 hour work week, with early starts or early finishes.

Your

role

will

include:

Planning and monitoring of outbound transport functions and operations;
Liaising with various stakeholders, including contractors and internal staff;
Managing facility layout to allow quick and accurate job identification, receivables laydown space and loading of materials in an efficient manner;
Evaluating delivery deadlines and take corrective action to eliminate behind schedule conditions and liaise effectively necessary parties;
Ensuring the delivery program is followed, manage changes as required.

What we'll love about you

Previous experience in a similar role;
Ability to prioritize, multitask and solve problems under pressure;
Exceptional organisational and attention to detail skills;
Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures;
Ability to work autonomously within a team environment;
Forklift Licence (highly regarded).
