The opportunity:


We have an exciting opportunity available for a Client Development Manager to join our AIA Retail Distribution team based in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Regional Manager - Client Development VIC/TAS, you will drive new business growth by servicing and growing adviser distribution within Life, Health and Wellbeing.


To do this optimally you will:

  • Develop deeper understanding of advisers and practice business needs, goals and objectives. Enabling to offer tailored solutions that drive sales, improve revenue for advisers, and create a differentiated proposition across life, health, and wellbeing.
  • Meet yearly production, retention and AIA Vitality engagement targets Closely
- the Client Development Management model within your state

  • Provide product education and client development support to advisers and support staff
  • Raise the profile of AIA at various PD days, conferences and industry events, networking and engaging with advisers and dealer groups.
  • Champion Healthier, Longer, Better, Lives and support the movement within AIA Vitality
  • Provide guidance and direction to your aligned support team and adviser panel
  • Previous experience within a Business Development role or similar sales positions within the life insurance or financial services industry
  • The ability to develop outstanding customer relationships, particularly within the adviser market and with local dealer group management
  • Successful completion of RG146 and Diploma of Financial Services or similar
  • Excellent networking and negotiation skills
  • The ability to professionally represent the AIA Australia brand externally
