Job Summary:


Learning & Development Co-ordinator is a member of the Global Talent Development (GTD) team based in one of our regional offices.

The GTD team is responsible for defining and developing the overall strategy development of all Training and Development programmes, as well as Employee Experience and corporate social responsibility initiatives across the entirety of Valiram.


Reporting functionally to the Assistant Vice President, Global Talent Development, operationally to the Country General Manager and partner with country HR Manager, you will be responsible for working with various internal stakeholders to create line of sight to our strategy, goals, and initiatives, increasing employee bench strength, capabilities and creating brand advocates in the region you operate in.

You will both develop local programmes and implement robust globally aligned educational programs, to develop leadership ability and internal company culture, across the Valiram enterprise and have a role in developing the strategic direction of the Global Talent Development Team.


This is an opportunity for either an accomplished learning and development professional looking to further their career in Talent and Organizational Development.


Key Responsibilities:


1.

Training Content Design & Development (+ localization of global material)
:


  • Act as accountable owner for maintaining relevance and quality of core content, including but not limited to leadership development programmes, coaching and mentoring programmes.
  • Take ownership and play a key role in the future development of regionally strategically important educational programmes for leaders, to increase the programme offering from the Global Talent Development team.
  • Own the sustainable rollout of Valiram's core programmes in 2023 & beyond; Onboarding, Retail Essentials & Leadership 10
  • Act as the regional mouthpiece for in country leaders and associates ensuring that their needs are met with the design and development of each educational module.
  • Serve as a Master Facilitator for Group programs, training others to conduct programs as required and delivering training for Supervisory and Management programs when required.
  • As a Master Facilitator, assist to facilitate internal team strategy meetings for division / department heads and key senior stakeholders.

Research and Analysis:


  • Provide analysis and insights from various data sources to support development of Training strategy and initiatives specific to the leadership population within the organisation.
  • Reporting, analysis, presentation activities in support of educational programmes and initiatives.
  • Support the communication of Training programmes, policies, and practices.
  • Act as the gatekeeper of all Talent Development related regional data, including but not limited to; compilation of accurate training data training hours, participants trained, brand led trainings etc

Partnership with Business Clients and Internal Customers:


  • Establish strong partnership with business clients/internal customers to continuously remain aligned with current business issues and opportunities, as related to learning and development.
  • Actively assist in the communication, alignment and implementation of learning and development related initiatives across the region, in support of Valiram business goals and strategic objectives.

4. Act as the Accountable Gatekeeper for Regional Employee Experience Programs

  • Take ownership and play a key role in the future development of various Employee Experience programmes and initiatives, in partnership with the AVP, Global Talent Development and Manager, Employee Experience.
  • Develop innovative communications and messaging that inform and strengthen the employee community across regional geographies, business units and functions.
  • Act as the regional accountable owner for maintaining relevance and quality of designed Employee Experience content, including but not limited to the _Embrace a Store _& our _4 Festivals _programmes.
  • Work with key stakeholders such as store and country leaders to ensure Employee Experience events are kept up to date and relevant, supporting store and merchandising strategy.
  • Act as the daytoday accountable owner and first point of contact for the regional store operations teams for all Employee Experience programmes.

Key Requirements:


  • Bachelor's/University degree
  • At least five plus year's professional experience in retail operations, human resources, or learning & development.
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering training to leaders from store managers to middle level corporate leaders.
  • Knowledge and experience in multicultural environments.
  • Proven skills leading, motivating, coaching assigned team members to effectively define and deliver goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional writing, verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate broad concepts into understandable messa
