Our client is a highly reputable employer of choice in the Aged Care sector and currently has an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join the team in this exciting newly created role.
This newly created role reports to the General Manager People and Culture and works closely with internal stakeholders to deliver:

  • Work closely with the team to assist with development and implementing recruitment attraction, selection and retention strategies and processes
  • Assist with implementation of HR projects and initiatives arising from strategic planning and process improvement
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives through data collection and analysis.
  • Provide service and advice to internal customers on a range of people related matters including employment contracts, Enterprise Agreement interpretation, staffing initiatives etc
  • Work closely with Education Specialists to support induction and onboarding of new staff and implementation of annual training plans.
  • Provide support as required on organisation structure and design processes, change management and employee relations issues
  • Meet the responsibilities of Work Health and Safety requirements.

What we are looking for:


  • Relevant degree qualifications and/or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in human resources or people & culture functions including recruitment and selection, HR administration and HR projects.
  • Computer skills in database systems and the Microsoft Office suite (spreadsheeting, word processing).
  • Key behavioural competencies include:

- o Planning and organising
- o Coping with pressures and setbacks

  • National Police Check
  • Up to date Covid vaccinations to be able to enter aged care facilities or appropriate exemption
