3 Minds QLD is a small, registered provider, we are wanting passionate staff that are looking at progressing their career as a support worker.
We are looking for a couple of people to join our team on a permanent part-time basis from 20-30 hours per week Monday to Sunday.

About the individuals we support
Redland Bay
Supporting two brothers 8 and 11, both energetic young boys who love sports, art and gaming.
They require clear consistent communication.
They prefer mínimal accents as this can be a trigger if they cannot understand support staff.
Your role includes personal care, in-home support and community access.
As well as assisting with therapy appointments, skill development, homework and transport to and from school.
Browns Plains
Supporting a young 14-year-old girl to build capacity and learn daily life skills and access the community. Staff will do this using a strengths-based model, following routines and a PBSP.
Limited communication - communicates with key sign and basic English.
The young lady enjoys music and likes to engage with others, is generally happy and great to work with.
Although, she needs to be constantly engaged and staff need to stay one step ahead of her at all times.
She likes consistency and can tell if workers do not like her and will respond accordingly if people are not wanting to work with her.
Shift hours
These include morning, day, weekend, and afternoon shifts as well as sleepovers.

Role Requirements
Looking for strong male and female workers.
Key - sign experience is an advantage.
Must want to engage, this is an active role and requires staff to always be present.
Must have PBSP experience, understand restrictive practices, and experience working with children.

NDIS worker screening card
Blue card
English as first language - these individuals have limited communication
Certificate 3 or above
Open drivers' license (no restrictions e.g., work license)
Full comprehensive insurance and reliable vehicle
First aid certificate
Current CPR
NDIS online module requirements

Supporting effective communication
Supporting safe and enjoyable meals
New Worker - NDIS Induction Modules

Shift availability
8-hour day shift - Weekends, public holidays and school holidays
Afternoon shift - 2.45pm - 7.30pm
Morning shift - 6.30am - 8.30am
Sleepover shifts - Occasional
