Description

Boilermaker:

  • Welding to 2980AS, MIG and ARC weld
  • Cutting, grinding, disassembly and assembly work of freight bogies to Engineering specifications
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic tools and pneumatic tools

Mechanical Fitter:

  • Disassembly and assembly of freight bogies to Engineering specifications
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic tools and pneumatic tools

CNC Machinist:

  • Programming & Operating CNC twin turret, 2axis lathe to machines wheel axles within 0.01 mm dimensional tolerance and 0.01mm concentricity
  • Programming & Operating CNC vertical borer, to machine wheel disc within 0.01 mm dimensional tolerance and 0.01mm concentricity
  • Operating Wheel mounting press fit wheel disc to axles
  • Competent ability to use analogue internal & external micrometres, dial indicators, vernier calipers, and other high precision measuring instruments

Sheetmetal Worker:

  • Monday
  • Friday 7am
  • 3.30pm $45 per hour
  • Press Operator experience a bonus
  • Boilermaker experience a bonus
