The Representative will focus on account acquisitions for institutional and high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
The Representative will handle the entire sales process, from identifying prospective clients to relationship management once the client is onboarded.
Applicants will work closely with our onboarding team but should be prepared to see this process through, from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Taking advantage of the multilingual skills, act as a key sales contact to Interactive Brokers' various institutional and HNW clients.
- Understand the needs of prospects to convert them into new clients.
- Rapidly attain the required knowledge of our global product offering (including equities, options, futures, foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities) Work with internal teams to ensure new clients are efficiently managed through a proper start
- Expectation of continuous study and learning about the broad spectrum of analytics, investment tools and general services made available through IBKR's institutional platform
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- An interest in trading and knowledge of the financial markets
- 2+ years of sales experience selling to financial industry clients such as Hedge Funds, Financial Advisors and Introducing Brokers is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good understanding of the investment needs of the Australian marketplace, specifically Hedge Funds, Financial Advisors and other HNW clients
To be successful, you will:
- Be a quick learner and technically orientated
- Be wellversed in industry knowledge in the Global Equity and Derivatives Markets
- Australian or PR holder
- Need or obtain various industry licenses, specifically RG146 qualifications and US FINRA series
- Be a team player and willing to deeply understand our product, offering and service
