We are seeking a motivated Sales Planning and Distribution Manager to join our team in Sydney, to drive innovation and build a green future in Australia.

This role oversees the inventory levels of BYD Automotive in collaboration with EV Direct and the Eagers retail team. You will predict, coordinate, receive and record new stock as it's ordered, delivered or shipped out to Australian ports. You will analyse different suppliers (shipping/trucking), record daily deliveries, and evaluate new and future shipments.

You will be responsible to :

Prepare the weekly/monthly order of vehicles for BYD
Manage stock mix by model variant and by state
Prepare and maintain Sales Stock rundowns by model
Prepare ship load schedules by variant, colour and state
Estimate new model planning volumes by variant and colour and state
Prepare regular order, sales & inventory management reporting
Prepare market share and market planning reports using VFacts data
Communicate production and shipping information to the retail network
Utilize tracking system for optimal inventory control procedures
Monitor levels/supplies to determine BYD shortages around Australia
Document BYD shipments & deliveries to replenish inventory
Evaluate new inventory, ensuring shipments are ready for PDI

Qualifications -

Prior experience in the automotive industry required

- specific to sales planning and distribution processes

Very organised with strong attention to detail
Displays excellent customer relationship skills
Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates a high work ethic and exhibits professional and acceptable behaviours at all times
Is teamoriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
Holds a valid driver's license and has a clean driving record
