About the Role

The Lecturer Health and Physical Education will be at the forefront of Health and Physical Education in Australia with a strong national profile.

They will make effective contributions to teaching and learning, research and scholarship, leadership and service within the Faculty of Education.

The successful applicant will have expertise in primary education and secondary education with the capacity to address issues associated with Health, Physical Education and Sport across the lifespan.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in collaborative research to pursue competitive external research funding

Who We Are Looking For

You will also have:

  • A PhD or professional doctorate in a relevant area
  • Qualifications that meet requirements for professional registration as a teacher
  • Demonstrated capacity to supervise graduate research students;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and constructively in teams, including multidisciplinary teams.
