Partnership Activities Coordinator

Are you passionate about building meaningful partnerships and engaging with local communities? Do you thrive in a dynamic retail environment? Join a leading outdoor adventure retailer, as a dedicated and enthusiastic Partnerships and Activities Coordinator in Melbourne.


This unique role is where you will see yourself partnering with local communities, in promoting the common goal of this business, a love of outdoor activities & a contribution to bettering the conservation of Australia's environment.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Organise, implement, and manage customerfocused activities both instore and outside, including presentations, workshops, and special events.
  • Visit local schools, community groups, businesses, and organisations to conduct workshops, presentations, and foster business relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and establish new ones with complementary schools, community groups, businesses, and organisations.
  • Handle proposal scoping, agreement negotiation, quotation creation, and invoice generation.
  • Manage donations and fundraising support for local schools and community groups.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new relationships.
  • Organise and oversee volunteer programs, such as bushwalking track building and Bushcare.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager, marketing, and digital teams to develop campaigns promoting partnership offerings and activations.
  • Ensure waste and recycling services are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on activity demands.

Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales and customer service.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in outdoor, adventure travel, education, or volunteering.
  • Active participation and passion for bushwalking, travel, climbing, or trail running.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting and engaging with local communities.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to maintain partnerships.
  • Creativity to design & deliver workshops to groups within the local community.
