About the role


Mater's Young Adult Health Centre (MYAHC) has an exciting opportunity for a
permanent and
full-time
Administration Officer to join the team In this role you will deliver high quality administrative support to the Manager Clarence Street and the Clarence Street Service Team.

MYAHC provides a wide range of services including residential and outpatient to support young people who experience problematic substance use.

The program is based at Mater Health Campus South Brisbane.


Salary range:
$ $37.62 (MCA Level 3) per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging


What you'll be doing

Typical tasks of the role include:

  • Reception and telephone services with a strong customer focus
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Manger and Program Coordinators
  • Examine and prioritise incoming correspondence, papers and reports to determine action
  • Prepare computerised documentation
  • Design, establish and maintain effective records and information processing systems
  • Enter data into service systems to support reporting to funding bodies
  • Maintain a calendar of appointments
  • Coordinate supplies of stock, stationary and other team resources
  • Carry out administrative functions associated with the reconciliation of transactions within cost centre reports
  • Record, update and maintain current and accurate patient information on IPM
  • Exercise judgement where necessary to solve immediate problems
  • Develop, document and implement efficient administrative processes
  • Attend regular team and service meetings to review current work practices
  • Participate in ongoing professional knowledge and skill development

About you

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Current Blue Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Queensland C Class driver's licence
  • Completion of First Aid Training (Emergency Care Course, St John's Ambulance is the minimum. requirement)
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
