You will be co-ordinating the day-to-day business of the CIO by completing the following: o Meeting preparation (includes actioning requests for material, securing meeting rooms and collating documents)o Follow-up actions arising from meetingso Diary management and travel arrangements for the CIO (local, interstate, overseas)o Financial reconciliation of accounts and expenses on behalf of the CIOo Communicating and liaising with key clients and stakeholders, including the DDG and DG offices, senior departmental management, and business partnersYour accountabilities include

Drafting responses to routine correspondence when requested, as well as completing more complex administrative tasks to comply with public sector legislation standards, policies, practices, and procedures relating to human, financial and physical resources.

Undertake quality assurance of all material presented to the Chief Information Officer for approval, ensuring corporate standards have been met.

Liaising, consulting, and maintaining effective relationships with team members, internal/external clients, and stakeholders by carefully analysing enquiries or requests resulting in the provision of accurate and timely outcomes.

Contributing to the forward planning of the division by regularly reviewing future diary, meeting and travel demands of the CIO, and identifying possible issues that may impact on the branch.

Participating in capability development activities required to perform efficiently and effectively in the role.
Acting as a Recordkeeping Business Advisor to ensure compliance with TMR's timesheet and recordkeeping systems is achieved and maintained for the CIO
In addition, you will provide a range of project or business support activities and tasks, for example: o Conduct and compile research and analysis within specified parameterso Organise meetings or conferences and compile related papers or agendaso Maintain databaseso Produce or update project or activity progress reports
The role will also support agile delivery practices within the branch.
This role reports to the Executive Officer, Office of the CIO.
