Traffic Controller - Melbourne, Australia - M1 Traffic Control

Description

We are currently working on multiple major projects, new and existing, throughout Melbourne's suburbs. We are looking for reliable and self motivated Traffic Controllers to join our team and grow with our business.

Duties:

Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events

• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic management plans
• Complete vehicle prestart checks
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
• Report on site hazards and near misses
• Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public

Skills & Experience:

• Traffic Control Accreditation (RIIWHS205E Control traffic with stopslow bat/RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plans)
  essential:
• OHS Card
• Driver license
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends
• People who can work individually and in teams
• Safety focused people with excellent communication skills

POLICE CHECK REQUIRED
We are looking to hire 6 Males and 4 Females to start early May.
