• Our client, a leading national service provider, is seeking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to join their Tasmania team located in Hobart.
• This position assumes functional responsibility for overseeing the overall and strategic operations of sites within the state portfolio, which will require regular travel throughout the state.
• Its purpose is to provide leadership, guidance and direction to Account Managers and other direct reports to ensure they can perform their roles effectively and efficiently.
• The position is the primary conduit for information, reporting and implementation of direction to and from the State Manager, Victorian General Manager, Clients and senior operations personnel.
• Key responsibiliites:
• Monitor and direct the performance of the Account.
• Set (in consultation) appropriate objectives for each senior operations staff member
• Provide clear communication and direction to senior operations personnel on directives and priority actions.
• Provide counsel and support on matters of operational and staff performance.
• Provide visible leadership onsite in support of Account Managers
• Conduct regular structured meetings with key personnel to review group performance, set action plans and agree on timelines
• Provide accurate and timely information on performance, variances and accompanying action plans to State Manager
• Monitor and review the performance of key personnel
• Address, counsel and document performance gaps
• Oversee the management of claims, customer complaints, issue resolution and capital expenditure.
