The Client

Our client has multiple brands that sit under the group umbrella that offer industrial equipment, manufacturing, building & construction, and outdoor products.

After a recent transformation, they are looking to hire a Warehouse Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
***Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities across the Brisbane operation are carried out safely, efficiently, within budget, in compliance with policies and procedures and all relevant workplace health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage the daytoday operations of the warehouse, including coordination of the warehouse team, receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials, whilst maintaining accurate inventory records.
Ensure the efficient, effective use of warehouse space, equipment, and resources, with a focus on reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive high performance and reduce waste.
Drive safety culture, leading by example.
Lead the team to achieve high performance, delivering efficient warehouse operations ensuring customer needs are met.
Drive regular stocktakes, cycle counting and be across all inventories in all warehouse spaces.
Identify key areas for improvement to the overall warehouse function, make recommendations to the supply chain manager and executing improvement projects as directed.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports as requested to provide insights into warehouse operational efficiency.
Processing incoming online orders through warehousing software

Skills & Experience

Proven experience within a Warehouse Management position
Forklift licence is essential
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new processes to improve warehouse efficiency
Previous experience using ERP / WMS / Inventory Management systems and Microsoft Office including Excel
A strong history of punctuality and reliability
Exceptional attention to detail
Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to learn and be challenged to improve

Relevant qualifications such as Cert IV in Warehousing and Storage, Diploma or similar will be viewed favourably.
