The Product Owner acts as the voice of the customer and will lead agile squads responsible for uplifting icare's Digital platforms ensuring that it both meets the needs of the business and provides a best-in-class experience for our customers.

Duties
It's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a
Digital Product Owner you will:

  • The Product Owner role bridges the gap between the customer, the business and technical teams focusing on the delivery of tangible product features to meet the needs of customers and the business and address problem statements.
  • The Product Owner will be accountable to prioritise and make tough decisions on what work should be done and more importantly what should not. They are accountable to identify, prioritise and deliver on optimisation opportunities of the Digital platforms.
  • Ensures close collaboration with the business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories.
  • Works cross functionally across the digital organization specially customer experience to
- ensure that the voice of the customer is incorporated into the product design.

  • Define customer needs and ensure the associated features meet those needs.
  • Deliver bestincall digital customer experiences, bringing important expertise, skills and knowledge across Product strategy & digital experience roadmaps, dealing with backlogs, and improving selfservice through digital solutions
  • Provide business context, vision and articulate the business value (user story level).
  • Articulate the user stories and acceptance criteria (with support from SMEs and BAs where needed).
  • Cofacilitate sprint reviews/showcases with Scrum master (SPO communicates achievement of sprint goals/user stories, demonstrates the functionality and seeks feedback).

Skills & Experience

  • 6 plus years of experience preferably in large complex organisations.
  • Agile experience in the role of product owner, embracing the agile mindset.
  • Preferred experience in insurance claims business context (preferably in a Personal Injury/ workers insurance).
  • Welldeveloped coordination skills combined with a sound understanding of project management techniques.
  • Previous experience within one or more of the following: Service design, CX design or Business Analysis.
  • Understanding and experience in one or more of the following system technologies: Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), Digital (Sitecore), and/or document management.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies, data, analytics and reporting and what constitutes good practice in a claims environment.
  • Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of endtoend customer experience integration and dependencies.
  • A broad range of experience in leading design initiatives & process improvements with a specific focus on customer experience.
