Federal Government client is seeking to engage in multiple

APS5 Compliance/Investigations Officers working until 25th of August 2024 with a further 6 month extension in their

Melbourne CBD Office.

About the Organisation


This leading Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of National Disability supports and services.

They work with participants, service providers, workers and the community to introduce a new nationally consistent approach so participants with disability can access services and supports that promote choice, control and dignity.


APS5 Compliance/Investigations Officers

  • Conduct compliance monitoring and investigative activities, designed to disrupt, prevent and mitigate fraud against the NDIS, through execution of operational activities, as well as compliance and enforcement actions
  • Exercise investigation and monitoring powers and undertake other evidencegathering activities to inform the development of briefings recommending a range of administrative and courtbased outcomes
  • Liaise with other government agencies and Taskforce partners, share information, produce briefing papers including recommendations to address quality and safeguarding risks arising from fraud and misuse of NDIS plan funds
  • Implement and monitor the impact of regulatory action, including largescale disruption activities
  • Engage across the full range of the NDIS Commission's functions, identifying and fostering opportunities to deploy crossfunctional strategies to address compliance issues
  • Contribute to the planning and monitoring of work processes for a small team
  • Other duties as required.

Position located in Melbourne CBD with hybrid potential:


  • APS5 $56.

00ph + super (inclusive of casual loading):

Temporary contract to complete on 25th of August 2024, with a further 6 month extension:


  • Standard Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
  • 37.5hrs pw

Mandatory:
Australian Citizenship required to work within Federal Government
