Position Summary


Ruyton Early Learning is rated exceeding in all seven areas of National Quality Standard and is influenced by the work and research of Reggio Emilia.

Ruyton Early Learning caters for children 3 to 5 years of age in a preschool early learning environment.

This role is an ongoing fulltime position. The Early Learning Co-Educator will be required to work during the School Holidays.

Shift days and times:
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm.


Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience providing high level care of children.
  • An active interest in and commitment to the education of young children.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current theory and research relating to Early Years Education, particularly working within the EYLF and VEYLDF.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of National Quality Standards.
  • Interest/knowledge in the educational project of Reggio Emilia Practice and Principle.
  • Excellence in engaging with children and providing stimulating, nurturing and creative learning environments and experiences.
  • Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of learning programmes to extend and cater to the needs of all children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and assist in assessments and observations of student learning.


  • Technologically literate

  • Microsoft Office, iPad, Storypark and Xplor (desirable).
