The Client

Our Client is an Australian government intelligence agency that is responsible for the collection, analysis, and distribution of geospatial intelligence in support of Australia's defence and national interests.

The Role
The IT Security Advisor shall provide system security services requiring a combination of technical security and managerial expertise.

The required services may include:

Conduct capability and concept development in context with technical security;
Conduct security requirements analysis and development;
Conduct security design and implementation and V&V;
Manage security certification/accreditation and support;
Liaise and coordinate key stakeholder engagement on system security issues;
Plan and deliver services, regulatory compliance;
Resource management and project outcomes;
Conduct reviews of contract deliverables.

About You

Knowledge and experience with ISO 27000/32000, ITIL processes, Information Security Manual controls and Government system certification and accreditation process
Demonstrated experience conducting:
Capability and concept development in context with technical security
Security requirements analysis and development
Security design and implementation and V&V
Demonstrated experience managing security certification/accreditation and support
Demonstrated experience liaising and coordinating key stakeholder engagement on system security issues
Experience planning and delivering services/regulatory compliance
Experience implementing resource management and project outcomes and conducting reviews of contract deliverables
