Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 equivalent Product Owner on a contract until 31/12/2023, with 1x12 months extension option.


Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design the solution components in accordance with scope and associated parameters, ensuring the design is user centric and fit for purpose from product development to release.
  • Maintain a strategic lens across the entire program of work to streamline the end user experience across integration points.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on progress and identify risks and solutions for mitigation as required.
  • Uplift capability through training, knowledge and awareness activities around the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop, prioritise, and implement the backlogs of work that align to the strategic direction of the project.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:


_Mandatory_

  • Significant experience in product development and/or as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience designing and or implementing modules of ServiceNow in a large organisation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and arguments to a variety of audiences.
  • Proven ability to harness information, exercise sound judgement and make recommendations under pressure.

_ Desirable_

  • Designing ServiceNow implementations in a Australian Government (federal or state) organisation
  • Designing technical program level activities with ServiceNow partners in a collaborative agile delivery approach
  • Experience as technical lead in large ServiceNow platform implementations
  • Certification in Servicenow design or implementation e.g. Application Specialist, Architect, implementor or System Administrator

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Applicants will be required to obtain a Police Check
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Clearance.
