D'Arcy Weil is representing a leading player in the Australian energy sector, is dedicated to pioneering sustainable energy solutions and driving positive change in the industry. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a talented Change Lead to join their Regulation team.
They are looking for an experienced Change Lead to spearhead initiatives related to wholesale energy regulation.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of regulatory changes, fostering efficiency, compliance, and competitiveness in the evolving energy market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead endtoend management of change initiatives related to trading and wholesale energy regulation, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, communication strategies, training programs, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as legal, regulatory affairs, operations, finance, and IT to assess the impact of regulatory changes and devise effective implementation strategies.
- Drive engagement and support from key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to facilitate successful adoption of regulatory changes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, leveraging key performance indicators and feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams and business units on change management best practices, fostering a culture of change readiness and resilience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in change management or project management are highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives in the
wholesale energy sector.
In-depth understanding of wholesale energy markets, trading, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements in Australia

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
