Full-time permanent role (Monday to Friday)
Our client has been a respected provider of aged care and community services across NSW. Built on an outstanding reputation of quality care and innovation, they deliver with genuine care, respect and compassion.
Due to internal movement, we're currently seeking a Corporate Secretary to join their team and provide direct support to the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
The role is primarily responsible for:
- Ensuring the integrity of the governance framework
- Supporting the effectiveness of the Board and Executive Leadership team by monitoring that board policy and good governance procedures are followed
- Coordinating the timely completion and despatch of agendas, minutes and briefing material
- Providing high level governance advice
- Ensuring the effective management of subpoenas and requests for legal information
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance of relevant policies, processes and procedures
- Coordination of the annual reports
What we're looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in business and/or law
- Current drivers licence
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children)
- A current NDIS check
- Experience in Aged Care, NDIS, Child Youth and Family (desirable)
- National Police Check
- Strong communication skills verbal written and oral
- Integrity and high work ethic
- Team focused and ability to work autonomously
- Energy, drive and a cando attitude
- Proven adherence to legislation, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in corporate governance
- A welldeveloped knowledge of governance compliance and procedures, including the management of Board and Committee recordss
- Excellent written communication skills to enable preparation of highlevel briefings, minutes, reports and correspondence as required
- Proven time management skills enabling the delivery of efficient and effective governance processes and support
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships at a senior level
- A proven ability to work with mínimal supervision or direction, to show initiative and to anticipate and meet the needs of the Board Members and Executive Leadership team in relation to governance processes
- Advanced user computer literacy, capability in using office systems and technology
