Bookings Officer - Theatre Scheduler
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team at
North Shore Private Hospital.

Temporary part-time 6 months

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for data entry to join our administration team at North Shore Private Hospital.

About the Role


You will be responsible for delivering a high level of professional customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This opportunity will also see you taking ownership of a range of administrative duties including but not limited to inputting and maintaining patient data, monitoring of future bookings, communicating to theatre teams and responding to patient and doctor queries.

This role reports to the Front Office Manager and will see you working 2 days per week 10:00am to 18:00pm


About You


You will be a highly organised and process focused administrative professional with previous experience in hospital bookings team or another clerical position within a health care setting.

Crucial to this role will be a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the time management skills to manage a high volume of accounts data.


You will also demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relationships with others.
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively engage internal stakeholders and team members.
  • A strong level of computer literacy/knowledge.
  • A Certificate in Medical Terminology will be highly regarded along with any knowledge of health fund administrative processing.

Remuneration:
$31 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
