Based at our Wetherill Park Branch, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fleet Manager or Senior Driver, or Driver Team Leader, wanting to take the next step into logistics management.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Directly manage our team of drivers, including holding toolbox talks, rostering and even on occasion jumping in the truck to cover additional orders or absences
- Managing your team's employment lifecycle, including recruitment, training, rostering, performance and exits
- Maintain the relevant WHS requirements
- Answer weekend emergency calls from your driver team when the need arises
- Oversee vehicle maintenance programs and ensuring daily preoperational checks are conducted
- Maintain your logistics KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) metrics
- Analysing data on a regular basis
- Suggesting solutions for improvement
- Responsible for monitoring deliveries and collections, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods
- Local and regional NSW area knowledge
- Proven experience in a logistics team
- Experience using routing technology software
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
