Colac Otway Shire Council are seeking a COPACC Technical Officer to join the team in a permanent part time position.


As the COPACC Technical Officer you will:

  • Assist with the technical preparation of the venue prior to an event or production
  • Assist venue hirers and touring company staff to ensure the safe and efficient use of the facilities
  • Assist with the load in and out of productions in the venue
  • Operate audio, lighting, and audiovisual systems for performances and events
  • Assist function staff and Council's Events Unit with the set up and operation of technical equipment as required for business and community events
  • Assist with scheduled maintenance of the venue and technical equipment
