CAR PARK OFFICER

- You will work as part of the broader Fire and Security team in the biggest private hospital in Western Australia.
- The role involves managing the operational aspects of the Hospital car parks from both a physical, walk around the site perspective, and also a data base management perspective.
- The bulk of the work is very handson but also requires some administrative skills.
About the Role:
Join the team and you will:
- Assist stakeholders with queries regarding the online parking payment system
- Allocate parking bays fairly and correctly
- Maintain, clean and repair car park equipment such as ticket machines and boom gates
- Physically empty cash from parking machines and refill parking tickets
- Assist with a variety of parking enquiries from internal and external customers
- Order parking tickets
- Issue parking infringements in line with City of Nedlands Bylaws
- Maintain a parking database
About you:
- Caring for people is important to you and you enjoy providing great customer service
- You enjoy being part of a team but can also operate independently
- You have a passion for understanding the workings of and carrying out minor repairs on basic mechanical equipment
- You have good computer literacy and preferably have previous experience using the Microsoft Office suite and managing databases
- You are able to negotiate, and problem solve to resolve conflicts or issues
- You remain calm under pressure
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are able to manually lift up to 10kg weights (cash tins)
- Honesty, integrity, and reliability are part of your character
