CAR PARK OFFICER

Join our team at Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, WA

_ If you are able to remain calm and tactful under pressure, have great negotiation and problem-solving skills, and have excellent customer service focus, then this could be the perfect role for you._

  • You will work as part of the broader Fire and Security team in the biggest private hospital in Western Australia.
  • The role involves managing the operational aspects of the Hospital car parks from both a physical, walk around the site perspective, and also a data base management perspective.
  • The bulk of the work is very handson but also requires some administrative skills.

About the Role:


Join the team and you will:

  • Assist stakeholders with queries regarding the online parking payment system
  • Allocate parking bays fairly and correctly
  • Maintain, clean and repair car park equipment such as ticket machines and boom gates
  • Physically empty cash from parking machines and refill parking tickets
  • Assist with a variety of parking enquiries from internal and external customers
  • Order parking tickets
  • Issue parking infringements in line with City of Nedlands Bylaws
  • Maintain a parking database

About you:


  • Caring for people is important to you and you enjoy providing great customer service
  • You enjoy being part of a team but can also operate independently
  • You have a passion for understanding the workings of and carrying out minor repairs on basic mechanical equipment
  • You have good computer literacy and preferably have previous experience using the Microsoft Office suite and managing databases
  • You are able to negotiate, and problem solve to resolve conflicts or issues
  • You remain calm under pressure
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are able to manually lift up to 10kg weights (cash tins)
  • Honesty, integrity, and reliability are part of your character

Requirements:


  • Must be
    vaccinated against Covid19 a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
  • Must provide a
    National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a
    Working-WithChildren check and
    proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
