Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a
State Government Agency to engage an Standard Operating Environments and Intune Specialist.
This position is located in their busy Gungahlin office for an initial
contract until 24/03/2025.

About the Position

The position will join the End User Services team to provide technical support to Digital, Data and Technology Solutions Group (DDTS) staff and customers, assist in developing solutions for Whole of Government identified issues and participate in assigned project work.

The role will focus on Operating System deployment and configuration of Standard Operating Environments (SOE) to all the departments supported environments.

Supporting the achievement of DDTS organisational objectives, along with upholding the delivery of quality customer services and ICT solutions.

This position is to support the achievement of DDTS organisational objectives and Service Level Agreements through the delivery of quality customer services and ICT solutions.

Duties

Provide advice on strategic issues relating to the SOE environment, including a consideration for Open Standards and Open Source products as related to the department business requirements.
Support infrastructure such as Group Policy, Intune, and login scripts.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and support including the development of solutions to overcome production SOE issues.
Develop and maintain relevant documentation as required for the Quality Management System (QMS).
Assist our Security team to ensure SOE compliance with Essential 8 requirements.
Develop and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions for both Android and iOS platforms.

Requirements/Skills
The information below describes the capabilities that are required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge (Capabilities):

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain multiple Intune MDM and MAM based solutions to meet unique customer requirements.
Demonstrated high level technical achievement in a large Microsoft environment including the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop appropriate solutions to problems.
Demonstrated sound organisational skills including the ability to work independently or as a member of a team to meet objectives.
Demonstrated high level experience and understanding of the Enterprise requirements for SOE development and deployment, scripting and overarching architectural ideals.
Ability to automate tasks using Visual Basic and PowerShell.
Demonstrated ability to configure both mobile and Windows devices with Intune technologies.

Behavioural Capabilities:

Welldeveloped liaison skills, with the ability to use oral and written communication effectively with stakeholders including business units and customers to troubleshoot problems and identify root cause of incidents.

Compliance Requirements / Qualifications:

This position does not require a preemployment medical.
This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
A driver's licence is not required for this position.
ITIL Foundation Certification or knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure library would be advantageous.
