  • The Global WHS and Risk lead is a key leadership role helping drive the client account forward. It is a multifunctional role, leading the development of operational solutions appropriately manage WHS and risk and deliver excellence across the account globally. Reporting into, Global Alliance Director.**The Opportunity:
  • Responsible for leading a team in managing and delivering WHS programs across a global business account.
  • Oversee development and implementation of the account WHS plans.
  • Ensuring a consistent approach in developing documentation that is in line with requirements.
  • Leading reporting, recording and investigation of WHS related incidents/ events.
  • Ensuring effective communications of training and industry related safety improvements.
  • Lead the monitoring of injury, illness, and incident related performance across the account.
  • Monitor WHS regulatory compliance across the account and communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies.
  • Lead the WHS oversight and audit activities across the account.
  • Promote safety consciousness among the account team and engage contractors.
  • Ensure WHS training plans and programs are rolled out across the account.
  • Assess impact of any legislative changes and communicate changes across account.
  • Manage risk, compliance, and assurance program.
  • Build and management comprehensive legislative compliance.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for risk management actions and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular risk based compliance monitoring.
  • Develop communication, governance is structured on the account and drive awareness.
  • Implement risk assessment programs.
  • Provide monthly assurance, conduct and compliance updates.
  • Build strong relationships with the client account and key stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic solutions to support management efforts and maintain compliance.
  • Effectively manage assigned budget to ensure cost effective solutions.
**Your background: - Regional and/or global experience is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in relevant experience.
  • Recognised qualification in health & safety management.
  • Audit experience is essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety is essential
  • Experience working in facilities management and project/construction safety is essential, with a preference in financial services.
  • Strong experience in operating at both managerial and operational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
