About the role:

As part of a small Dynamic team, your role will focus on the leasing administration side of the business. The role is to support the Centre Manager to drive asset value and net profit and build customer relationships.

- In this position as Retail Administration Assistant for Burnside Village Shopping Centre you will encompass a wide variety of tasks and duties suited to an individual who is highly organised, has an administrative background and exceptional attention to detail.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Update all systems with report tracking
  • Preparation of leases and disclosure statements
  • Arrange for the leases to be executed by the Lessors Directors.
  • Update the Bank Guarantee register & monthly billings report
  • Maintaining relations with retailers
  • Assist with retail management planning
  • Provide assistance and support to the Concierge team which may include some ad hoc weekend work when required

Skills & Experience

To be considered you will need prior experience ideally with exposure to retail property and law, although commercial property or general lease administration will be favorably considered.

You will need to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact, be flexible in your approach and confident enough to learn swiftly.

Experience in negotiating and interpreting leases, a strong knowledge of the Retail & Commercial Leases Act and the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders including landlords, real estate agents and legal representatives is a must.

Your ability to assess tenant's invoices, set-up leases and tenancy information in accordance with processing guidelines is also important.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Property management and lease administration experience desirable
  • Demonstrable history of being an integral member of a hardworking and close knit team
