About the Opportunity
Liverpool Hospital Dietetics Department comprises a team of dynamic dietitians whom strive for excellence in clinical practice.

Liverpool Hospital is an ideal workplace for a Level 1 or 2 Dietitian to cultivate a wide range of dietetic experiences, with majority of medical and surgical specialities managed in the hospital, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Additionally, the level 1-2 dietitian is well supported in their development by a wide range of specialist dietitians whose expertise is sought by dietitians at other hospitals within SWSLHD and beyond.

We also have a strong culture of teamwork, whereby staff work as a team to support other team members in managing their caseload in busy times.

This is a key principle supported within the department to achieve effective management of workloads in one of the largest hospitals in NSW and the expedited patient flow experienced.

Additionally, the Liverpool Dietetics Department has a strong focus in teaching and research. The department is one of the teaching sites for University of Wollongong Dietetics students. Dietitians are actively involved in lecturing and student supervision. A specific research strategy has been implemented to encourage initiation of and participation in multidisciplinary team research.

As such, there is expansive scope for supported development in a wide range dietetic practice for a permanent level 1-2 dietitian within this role.
